1. Overview

At Njemanyi, we strive for 100% satisfaction in every journey. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which a refund may be issued for services provided through the Njem platform. Our goal is to ensure fairness for our customers, vendors, and delivery partners across the Coal City.

2. Eligibility for Refund

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund under the following conditions:

Non-Delivery

The service was paid for but the item was never delivered due to platform or partner error.

Damaged Items

Items were significantly damaged during the Njem delivery process (excludes pre-packaged vendor errors).

Incorrect Order

You received the wrong items or a significantly different order than what was requested.

3. Service-Specific Rules

  • Njem Food: Refunds for food quality (taste, temperature) are handled in coordination with the restaurant vendor. Delivery-related issues are handled directly by Njemanyi.
  • Njem Parcel & Docs: Refunds cover delivery fees in cases of significant delay or loss. Item value protection is subject to our separate insurance terms.

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued in the following instances:

  • Incorrect delivery address provided by the user.
  • Receiver unavailability at the time of delivery.
  • Cancellation of orders that have already been prepared or picked up by a rider.
  • Minor delivery delays due to extreme weather or unforeseen road closures in Enugu.

5. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, follow these steps within 24 hours of the transaction:

  1. Navigate to "Order History" in the Njemanyi app.
  2. Select the specific order and click "Report an Issue."
  3. Upload clear photographic evidence if the item is damaged or incorrect.
  4. Submit your request for review by our support team.

Processing Time

Once approved, refunds are processed within 3-5 business days. The funds will be credited back to your Njem Wallet or the original payment method used.
